AVPS - Average Particle Size (Microns) Test
Particle size analysis falls into two categories: Ultimate and physical. Physical particles are those we can measure using ordinary sieves. Ultimate particles, in the micron range, require the use of specialized devices.
Variables
VAL - Value (V)The size in microns of the average particle of a powder sample

Ultimate Particles
Utlimate particles of ceramic materials are finer than can be measured even on a 325 mesh screen. These particles are the key players in the physical presence of the material. |
